The Dynamic DNS documentation wording is a bit confusing given that it
still uses Bind9 as the underlying DNS service. This is probably why he
is mentioning Bind.

of the more recent improvements like the multiple domain support and
Master/Slave are only available in the the 2.8.3 or 2.8.4 releases.

xCAT has only supported one DNS domain with makedns until the xCAT2.8
release which also no longer uses bind but ddns.

We have workstations we added to /etc/hosts so that the management node
could do DNS for the whole network. Several workstations got switched to a
different network. So we added the network to the networks tabfile and
edited /etc/hosts to change the IP address for the workstations to their
new IP address and ran makedns. Problem now is the dns file makedns
generated has the old IP and new IP entries in the file. Ran makedns -d
"workstation" and it errored since the workstations are not in the hosts
tabfile. Any suggestions? edit the db file directly and rerun makedns???
