I have not followed this whole thread and am unclear which of the
messages are most relevant to the problems being seen.

I reported seeing the above on our IBM 3650 M2 systems in July 2013.
I've been seeing these problems occasionally since then (they are
rather transient).
We have recently been installing a new cluster (IBM 3650 M4 systems)
and I believe that I saw similar issues with those systems and xCAT
2.8.4. Firmware on the systems may not have been up to date at that
time.
