Once I had set that I had to copy the binary as: /install/netboot/rhels6/x86_64/memtest/kernel Then I had to touch: /install/netboot/rhels6/x86_64/memtest/initrd.gz /install/netboot/rhels6/x86_64/memtest/rootimg.gz to keep nodeset happy (memtest86+ is just a single binary so those files are not relevant at all). Doesn't seem like a convenient replacement for the older method, but I guess this is an unusual request. Unfortunately after all that memtest86+ doesn't work (not surprisingly as it's not a UEFI exe), but sadly neither do the memtest86 UEFI binaries bootia32.efi & bootx64.efi work either. I've validated that the node PXE's the right files, but the UEFI BIOS just resets back to the initial POST after a second or so of reading that file, no evidence of trying to execute it or any errors. :-( I've confirmed with pasu that secure boot is disabled, so that shouldn't be it: # pasu snowy001 show SecureBootConfiguration.SecureBootis snowy001: SecureBootConfiguration.SecureBootis=Disabled All the best, Chris -- Christopher Samuel Senior Systems Administrator VLSCI - Victorian Life Sciences Computation Initiative Email: [email protected] Phone: +61 (0)3 903 55545 http://www.vlsci.org.au/ http://twitter.com/vlsci ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monitor Your Dynamic Infrastructure at Any Scale With Datadog!
