well, I am not sure what is the problem to cause ""no space on device"
issue.
I just want to narrow down the problem with you to find the root cause.

after ran nodeset, there are files should be created under
the /tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nodes, like cn0.uefi, cn0.elilo and cn.
I am not sure why your system didn't have those files. maybe tftpdir on
the site table had different dir? you can check it with "tabdump site |
grep tftpdir"

also, on your image, there is a attribute called template:
template=/opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/centos/compute.centos7.tmpl
you can try to modify this file to fit your needs for the filesystem.

Thanks,
Casandra

Yes:

      Do u have those two rpms installed on the MN?
      xnba-undi-1.0.3-131028.noarch
      elilo-xcat-3.14-4.noarch

Yes:

[root@xcat-p1n01 ~]# rpm -q xnba-undi
xnba-undi-1.0.3-131028.noarch
[root@xcat-p1n01 ~]# rpm -q elilo-xcat

      from the node definiton, the mac address should be like:
      mac=00:50:56:a5:39:74

Are you sure about that?  Everything about the MAC seems to be correct.
Perhaps both forms (with or without ":") work.

      can you change mac as above and change installnic and primarynic=mac,
      then run "nodeset cn0 osimage=centos7.1-x86_64-netboot-compute" ?

To be clear, are you thinking this will solve the current problem or
something else?  The current issue is that the node gets an address, begins
booting, pulls down the root image, but then dies with various "no space on
device" errors.

                  there are three files should be something like that for

                  Ok, I set the node to xnba as this list repeatedly said
                  to do.  I still have the same problem with "no space left

                  to troubleshoot that?
