When you run updatenode -F, the target files will be synced to the service node first if there's service node.

The command 'xdcp -s -F' can be only to only sync the file to service node.

Thanks

Subject: [xcat-user] Service nodes and sync files
Date: Tue, Apr 26, 2016 7:40 PM

What’s the right way to get the sync files to the service nodes?

I’m running this cron job every night on the MN, and the CN target in the command is one that is serviced by the SN.

 /opt/xcat/bin/updatenode <compute_node> -f

Is there a better way to do this?
