with the inclusion of %include /tmp/partitioning in template files one can boot
> 2 TB drives as long as the machine is using boot mode UEFI

With Red Hat 7.2 it appears that > 2 TB systems boot mode set to BIOS requires
the creation of a biosboot partition.

Is this something that's planned in the future for xcat?
My preference is not to change machines which have worked if possible.

Rich

hi .everyone

I have an xcat node update from the xcat 2.10 to xcat 2.11.1 and now no
errors in updates ,but we have problems when use the xcat command ,can anyone
take a look at my issue ,thanks

Connection failure: SSL connect attempt failed because of handshake problems
error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca at
/opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT/Client.pm line 265.

I have check the CA in the /root/.xcat / and the CA certificate is still valid
by the time ,there should be the CA issue but it would not be an CA expiration
issue , any advice would be appreciated

[root@mgt .xcat]# pwd

/root/.xcat

the temp solutions is as following :

1: XCATBYPASS=1 tabdump site if run successfully ,then it should be the
cert issue ,

2: run xcatconfig -c to generate new credentials.

I don't know what is the root cause ,but above can help me to solve the
problem ,if anybody can help me to explain the reason ,that would be better
,thanks
