Hi folks,

We're just grabbing the RHEL 6.8 ISO now, but in the meantime I already
had the updates cached on our test cluster (we have a local cache that
our diskless nodes osimages use so they always pick up the same revisions
until we decide to do an update) so I took our RHEL 6.7 osimage that
built fine under xCAT 2.8.5 and updated the paths for RHEL 6.8.

Unfortunately when I tried to rebuild it with genimage under xCAT
2.12.1 I got this error:

------------------8< snip snip 8<------------------

Try to load drivers: pps_core i2c-core ptp mdio libcrc32c i2c-algo-bit dca
virtio_ring virtio tg3 bnx2 bnx2x e1000 e1000e igb mlx_en virtio_net be2net
ext3 ext4 to initrd.

chroot /install/netboot/rhels6/x86_64/rhel68_u/rootimg dracut -f
/tmp/initrd.9698.gz 2.6.32-642.3.1.el6.x86_64

E: Failed to install xz
Error: failed to generate the initial ramdisk for stateless..

------------------8< snip snip 8<------------------

Now xz is present, so I'm not sure what happened here?

[root@bruce-m ~]# rpm -q xz
xz-4.999.9-0.5.beta.20091007git.el6.x86_64

All the best,
Chris
