I have a master virtual node (kvm/libvirt) with xCAT installed in it. I moved an OS image file to the node (myImage.img).
I want xCAT to recognize it so I used the imgimport command: imgimport myImage.img I got the error: Unbundling image... Error: Failed to extract bundle myImage.img So I compressed the image file with the following command: gzip myImage.img And I got: myImage.img.gz So I executed: imgimport myImage.img.gz But I'm still getting the same error. Please help me how can I fix this? How can I use imgimport with .img files? Please help me I am a total beginner in xCAT and Linux :'(!!!
