THx Mark for the reply. Litetree exists for both MN and SN.
Absolute path is a nice solution. @xCAT team – can you please add it to next release? Or, make sure systemd can use the env PATH. The command "XCATBYPASS=Y litetree" gets called from setupNFSTree() in xCAT-server/lib/perl/xCAT/SvrUtils.pm Maybe it needs to be changed to the absolute path to litetree ? When restarting xcatd on the service node we see many of the following messages (one per each node managed by the SN) – sn2 xcatd[15900]: Command failed: XCATBYPASS=Y litetree cn205 2>&1. Error message: sh: litetree: command not found. The reason it looks like a system issue is because the command is there and available and when we add PATH=<the system path> To /etc/sysconfig/xcat Everything works normal again. Any idea what is the issue? THX!
