THx Mark for the reply.

Litetree exists for both MN and SN.

Absolute path is a nice solution. @xCAT team – can you please add it to next
release?
Or, make sure systemd can use the env PATH.

Is litetree there on both SN and MN ?

The command "XCATBYPASS=Y litetree" gets called from setupNFSTree() in
xCAT-server/lib/perl/xCAT/SvrUtils.pm

Maybe it needs to be changed to the absolute path to litetree ?

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [xcat-user] systemd strange behavior with xCAT 2.14.5

________________________________

Hello,

After upgrading from 2.13.2 to 2.14.5 we see some strange behavior which seems
to be related to systemd.
When restarting xcatd on the service node we see many of the following messages
(one per each node managed by the SN) –
sn2 xcatd[15900]: Command failed: XCATBYPASS=Y litetree cn205 2>&1. Error
message: sh: litetree: command not found.

The reason it looks like a system issue is because the command is there and
available and when we add
PATH=<the system path>
To /etc/sysconfig/xcat
Everything works normal again.

Any idea what is the issue?

THX!
