Additionally, xnba supports uefi boot if that is of interest. It can shave quite a bit of boot time. It supports BIOS/Legacy boot as well, but also UEFI boot.
Also, in the next Lenovo build, we removed elilo from UEFI boot flow for further simplication if uefi booting. So it ended up getting me to the installer while I was watching it through rcons it just took a really long time to get to that point.
