Let me restate the question since I just realised I may have uncorrectly
explained my need throwing the discovery process in the mix.
What I'd need is that a node would download its stateless image through
nic1:ip1 and that the booted os end up with nic1:no-ip (nic1
unconfigured) and nic2 configured with ip2, calculated with a
regexp/forumula from it's hostname.
And the above fitting in a switch-based discovery mechanism in order not
to manually enter nic2's mac address by hand.
