How are you building the Nvidia driver as an RPM?  I'm looking to do
the same thing for our diskless xCAT installation.  I'm wanting to
reduce the footprint of our ramdisk on the compute nodes.

I already build GPFS kernel support RPMs in a VM so I'm familiar with
issues around matching kernel versions.

I have tried using the Nvidia .run file approach and can build the
kernel with "--add-this-kernel".  However the updated .run file wont
install on my xCAT build machine since it doesn't have a GPU.  I also
have not yet tried an install inside the diskless chroot image.
