Hi all, The problem appeared, because xCAT didn’t replace the string ‘linux.localdomain’ in /etc/hostname with the correct hostname of the node. This lead to the boot problems (/etc/nsswitch.conf is configured to use ldap). Once I set the hostname via a postboot – script the problem is gone. Is this a bug for the current version, (too)? Cheers, -Frank

After a successful installation with sles12.4 the node (dell R640) fails to boot from localdisk (see console log below). Does anyone has an idea about the error message from gPXE and how to workaround or solve it? Many thanks in advance.
