Greetings
When adding kernel variables to use prior to stateful provisioning I see a
single variable (after building the system)
e.g.
tabch imagename=rhels8.2.0-x86_64-install-afsserver
linuxaddkcmdline="ipv6.disable=1"
but if multiple variables are passed I don't see them all .....just the
first variable. (after building the system)
tabch imagename=rhels8.2.0-x86_64-install-afsserver
linuxaddkcmdline="ipv6.disable=1 intel_idle.max_cstate=0
intel_pstate=disable numa_balancing=disable"
lsdef seems to show them correctly...
[root@opt-mgmt nodes]# lsdef -t osimage rhels8.2.0-x86_64-install-afsserver
Object name: rhels8.2.0-x86_64-install-afsserver
addkcmdline=ipv6.disable=1 intel_idle.max_cstate=0 intel_pstate=disable
numa_balancing=disable
imagetype=linux
osarch=x86_64
osdistroname=rhels8.2.0-x86_64
osname=Linux
osvers=rhels8.2.0
otherpkgdir=/install/post/otherpkgs/rhels8.2.0/x86_64
pkgdir=/install/rhels8.2.0/x86_64
pkglist=/opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/rh/afsserver.rhels8.pkglist
profile=afsserver
provmethod=install
template=/opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/rh/afsserver.rhels8.x86_64.tmpl
[root@opt-mgmt nodes]#
I believe I've used multiple variables before but that may have been a
number of years ago.
[root@opt-mgmt XCAT]# lsxcatd -v
Version 2.16 (git commit 7fc773bd8e82ff9270bd7832558422dd17e23e66, built
Tue Jun 16 16:07:25 EDT 2020)
[root@opt-mgmt XCAT]#
Did something change?
Am I doing something incorrectly?
Thanks,
Rich
