Dear Xcircuit Devels, I tried it on a fresh Fedora 9 machine with the tcl and tk libs from the Fedora Repositories. This bug is completely reproducible on that machine too. So I guess its not a Ubuntu specific problem. May be this is of additional help. A hint I got is that the program crashes before it reaches the "else" condition that is changed. Is that of any significance?
