It is not clear what you are trying to do or what you downloaded. "Fink" is a package manger. If the people who manage Fink of decided that XCicuit is to be in their system then you can install circuit via fink very simply and you don't need to download anything.
If you downloaded the source code or even a binary that has little do do with Fink. To get meaningful advice you are going to have to tell use the exact names of any files you got, exact commands and any error messages. Cut and paste from the terminal window As convinient as Fink is, I alway prefer to build from source About Mac OS X. For our purposes here it may as well be BSD Unix In fact it is BSD Unix.
