Dear Jrgen,

I've done a little more with that sleep command in the folder_io_gzip.cxx
file. I increased the value to 100.

It made no difference to the problem of loosing emails when archiving
using the folder manager. But it increased the time to shut down xcmail
(using the Quit button) enormously (100 times?) after that archiving
operation had been done. It says it's writing the folder at that time,
but that appears odd/wrong to me.

It does not appear to increase the time to shut down after "normal" use by
very much.

So it would appear to me that the sleep command, or the delay is being put
in the wrong part of the process - but my c is not enough as to sort out
where.

Something else I've noticed in all this. I am moving a vfolder from
$user/Mail to $user/Mail/ARCHIV. However, the folder that appears does
not have the .gz extension, even though it is, apparently, gzipped.
Should it not have that extension?

Regards,

David Pilgram.
