Dear all,

I had not used the babelfish plug-in for some time. I do, very
occasionally, use babelfish directly, but had need today to try and
communicate with someone whose command of English was not enough to
understand the detail I was trying to get across. OK, my fault that I
cannot speak French well enough either, but anyway...

It does seem odd to include in the xcmail distrubution a plug-in that is
known no longer to work. At least, without a warning, in case it spurs
some user to get down to the metal, sort it out and send in a patch for
everyone else.

Since most of the other plug-ins clearly are operative (I've not checked
all of them), it is a detail that made me wonder what was wrong. As I
needed a transation, I went to the babelfish site directly, and got a
(pretty awful) translation. But maybe the message was got across.

Regards,

David Pilgram.
