I created a shell tool, that compiles source code, let's call it "My Unreleased language" (MUL). I'm using MUL as an "external build tool" within Xcode.
If MUL finds an error, it will produce errors as strings. But Xcode doesn't know how to interpret them. I want the errors to display properly in Xcode, so i can CLICK on the error reports... and just jump directly to the line. How would I do that? I have no idea really... I assume it has something to do with outputting a string in the correct format so that Xcode can parse it, but what format is that? Where is it even documented? ... There are some pictures to help explain the problem... http://postimg.org/image/ol94v9oat/ (the current amount of integration (not much)) http://postimg.org/image/5xwfnm9tx/ (the integration I WANT (but don't have)) I already asked this question on stackoverflow, but no one answered. -- http://jeebox.org/ "An extensible language for describing code, concepts and stories" _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
