I don’t see the super-highlighting of within-line changes. You started off asking for something for lines you didn’t “really” change, and there is a menu item to do that. Now you’ve refined that to say that it hurts your eyeballs to see whitespace changes *slightly* emphasized along with non-whitespace changes when they occur in the same line. I think you’re fitting angels on heads of pins, here, even though what you’re suggesting is probably a slight improvement (of the old behavior).
