great work ...
really. good workflow..
nice to see, eager to work with it ..

One thing (I posted it as ticket 879) ..
the aat-delta time isn't visible in target window in portrait mode, in v603 will be solved with this version.

But moving the aat points only in the target window isn't really handsome in my opinion .. I really enjoy the AAT waypoint behaviour of winpilot. Ok, that has nothing to do with this design, which is excellent...

Remember - you are sitting alone in a glider (single seater) and just moving the aat points to an appropriate Delta time needs at least 7 clicks ( 4 to open and 3 to close ) to see how it decreases and increases. In speed area tasks the delta time is important. And you will often use and change the Delta time in flight.
7 clicks ... everytime

Maybe I completely misunderstood one thing about the HMI, but I can't see an other way to justify Delta Time..

Winpilot:
move your AAT Point in the main window and directly see, how Delta time or percent of distance changes.
no need to switch to a different window.
Maybe an additionally idea ??

regs,
claus

ps-
maybe a bug:

-> nav ->  nav
Sometimes "Resume" is shown as 2nd item from left, somtimes "Abort" ... ??

I have no feedback yet on the second Task manager mockup (#2).

We've redone the Task manager to have 6 tabs. Integrates Calculator
with Manager functions.

We're trying to wrap up this for the 6.1 release. Please review and
let me know if this is too many tabs ; )

Thanks,

Rob

This is the second mockup for XCSoar's Task manager UI. It
incorporates feedback from the first Task manager mockup from last
week. Thanks everyone who commented on the first mockup.

This attempts to address this issues raised by comments on the first
Task manager mockup. The goal is to create a UI that is more
intuitive and easier to use, and hopefully discover some patterns
that we can apply to other areas of XCSoar's UI.

Please post any suggestions or comments you may have.

Thanks,

Rob
