Hi Luke,
from what I have experienced in flying with XCSoar last year, this
setting was removed in v6 and in my opinion it isn't really needed
anyway. You have to manually arm the start now (which makes sense) and
also manually arm inside of an AAT sector (which also makes sense) and
everything else will automatically be done for you. We are open for
suggestions though.

manual and I see the modes explained but I don't see where to
actually set the option itself. In 5.2.4 this was part of the
