All, XCSoar 6 has a powerful new input method called "Gestures." By
default, Gestures are disabled, but can be turned on in XCSoar's
"Interface" configuration screen.
The purpose of this email is to request suggestions from XCSoar users
which Gestures they would like "out of the box" with 6.1.
Summarily, Gestures are shortcuts you draw on the screen instead of
using the XCSoar menu. For example drawing the letter "L" on the map
screen brings up the waypoint list.
Please reply with the menu functions that you frequently use while
flying, that would be candidates for adding as Gestures to XCSoar:

Current 6.0 finger Gestures:
"L" (down, right) brings up the waypoint list (goto mode)
(up) zoom in
(down) zoom out
(down, up) brings up the menu (like double click)
(right) rotates info box modes
(left) drops marker
Proposed for 6.1:
"T" Task screen (right, down)
"A" Analysis screen (barograph etc) (up, right, down)
"L" List of waypoints (down, right)
"P" Pan mode (Up, right, down, left)
"S" Status (left, down, right, down, left)
"h" Help screen (shows these gestures) (down, up, right, down)
What else?????
