I had the problem in flight and also in the car however it does not appear to
be loss of GPS signal but loss of bluetooth connection. I never get the message
that it is waiting for a GPS lock only that it is waiting for a connection to
the GPS. Once it is connected back to the GPS the signal is instantly there as
to position etc.
