I would like to thank Max for all the help he has provided to try to get my
ipaq 4705 and Garmin 10 to run the new version. He has come up with a work
around that seems to not drop the bluetooth GPS. Hopefully down the road he
will find a more permanent solution to allow 4705 users to use even newer
versions of XCSoar.

I think however I have taken up enough of his time and am hoping there is
someone else out there that might be able to help me with another issue with
the new version.

Test version three he sent me seems to work just fine in regards to the
bluetooth issue but the info box set to altitude required for next waypoint
does not seem to work. No matter what waypoint I chose it seems to indicate
roughly the same required altitude while the task arrow on the left side
changes each time i change waypoint and seems to indicate the correct required
altitude.

The info box altitude does seem to be reading the GPS altitude. When I climb or
descend it changes accordingly just not according to the waypoint.

I would be very grateful for any help with this. I really like XCSoar and do
not want to change software so I hope I can get it to work.
