I've now flown several tasks with this version and really like it.
However, I've had some issues.
1. I had problems starting tasks - but that was due to my
misunderstanding of the options for start points when setting up
the task.
2. I was unable to set the Macready to more than 1.9kts using the
switch on the Vega - I ended up using auto-Macready to get round
this problem. There appear to be some issues with the interaction
of the XCSoar/Altair and the Vega - moving the 'user' switch seems
to flip the Altair display between circling and cruising mode and
this has impacts on other areas of XCSoar in that it then appears
to get confused about the position of the flap switches!
3. I was unable to set the Macready to more than 1.9kts using the
onscreen buttons in the 'config flight' screen.
4. In previous versions, pressing 'escape' turned off the FLARM radar
screen for a few seconds, allowing you to see the infoboxes
obscured by the radar. This no longer appears to work - is there a
way to do this in 6.0.9?
