I understood that the terrain model is unaffected by it.
In early gliding software versions (approx 6 years ago) there were differences
in the grid size of the elevation model. I mean to remember 900x900m vs
90x90m although I might be mistaken. Today I presume there is the best
available model included in the data since cpu speed and file size are no
problem any longer.
