That's a good hint - I have observed buggy graphics drivers on a lot
of Android phones.  Rotating the display is something that seems
likely to trigger such a bug.  I have seen this in Google Maps, too!

If this is the cause of your problems, then this is not specific to
XCSoar, and unfortunately there is nothing I can do to help.  There is
no remedy other than getting a new Android version with updated
drivers (which is impossible for most phones).

In any case, write a bug report with a logcat, so we can confirm it
(and document it).
