The "UNK" shows up in multiple spots on the map and is not the name of the
lakes. It suddenly showed up near a lake which is near my home airport so I am
pretty sure I havent seen it before I upgraded but will give it a try. I
normally upgrade from Google Play. Can you remind me where I can find link to
prior versions to downgrade?

Maybe your map file contains lakes named "UNK"?
I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with the upgrade to 6.7.3. To
be sure, downgrade to 6.7.2 again and see if it's gone.
