OK guys, it seems to be an unofficial tradition from me to list things undone for a major release some days before finishing it for release :-)
>From an ancient email, what's left undone: > - bugs + patches > - docs + comments + new architecture doc (with the class diagram) + > updating toc doc to include orion/... tags + webwork/jmx has no docs yet > ;-) > Anyway a documentation team is needed 8-) First we should apply Andrew's patch for making our current comments pass javadoc. The architecture doc is way out of date. I hope I still have the class diagram I sent during discussions with Dmitri somewhere. It'll be part of that doc. Another things is task docs, ejbdoclet/webdoclet. Like Ant we should have a separate doc that lists parameters common to all tasks/sub-tasks, it's getting tedious to copy/paste from one to the other. And templates.html which will not function at all, it needs changes to build.xml and maybe some other changes. Plus we should list namespace->implementation mapping in that doc too. I invite you all to spend some time on docs. I will too, this weekend I mean. > - weblogic ejb and weblogic web (Aslak please comment on it), I guess > relations are ok (?) Orion stuff seems to be in good shape. > - I would also like to see ejb subtasks like <entitycmp/>/etc be > optional, for those who want to just use xdoclet for generating > ejb-jar.xml only. Hmm, wasn't Dmitri working on it and suddenly he disappeared? ;-) > - A <XDtTag:defineTagsHandler name="MyTags" > class="com.foo.MyTagsHandler"/> in case you don't want to touch the tag > mapping file (something like Ant's taskdef). Done. I committed it yesterday. Let me know if you're interested in doing some of the above tasks. Ara. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
