Matt,

The module is actually in pretty good shape already and quite usable. The only caveat is that the documentation is a bit out of date, but nothing major. Over the next week I plan on fleshing out the fuctionallity and cleaning up the documetation. Right now I could give you a tar file that would drop into the XDoclet source tree and build clean with the rest of XDoclet. Next week I could update that for you if the candidate process has not moved forward yet.

Let me know if you would like me to do this.

The sooner the better on this. I'm looking to include hibernate and
castor as persistence mechanism on an application I'm writing (that will
be published by Wrox). I'm hoping to demonstrate using xdoclet to
generate these persistence layers from POJO's and it'd be much easier if
both were in xdoclet. It probably won't be in the beta3 though - will
it?

Thanks,

Matt

Subject: [Xdoclet-devel] hibernate module

Hey,

I candidate Joel Rosi-Schwartz ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
for cvs access to xdoclet's cvs for maintaining a new module:
Hibernate xdoclet module (hibernate.sf.net). He has upgraded
the existing Hibernate xdoclet module (check out Tools module
from hibernate's cvs). Gavin (Hibernate's project leader)
also fully supports his candidacy. I think it's a valuable
addition to xdoclet's modules. Hibernate is a very popular OR
mapping framework. I'm using it myself :-)

My vote: +1

Ara.
