Very strange. I'm not able to reproduce this. I added
@ejb.util generate="false"
to CountryBean in the samples, and I get no error. Can you post the full stack trace
please? Could you also attach the file that causes the error? -Or at least something
that lets us reproduce the error?

I get this error:
[ejbdoclet] xdoclet.XDocletException: The value 'false' specified for parameter
'generate' of ejb:util tag in no.polardesign.boostcom.registrar.RegistrarBean class is
not valid. Valid values for this tag are: {physical,logical}.
which doesn't match the doc which says that no or false could be use to avoid
generation of utilobject.
Or is there another way to accomplish this?
