Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Submitted By: Howard Chen (hchen_0) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Support Java 1.5 Syntax Initial Comment: Is there any plan to support Java 1.5 syntax in xjavadoc? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrew Stevens (stevensa) Date: 2004-02-27 23:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=247081 This was asked and answered on the xdoclet-user mailing list less than a week ago. XJavadoc may or may not be updated; there are no current plans to do so, unless somebody sends a patch, since XDoclet 2 doesn't use XJavadoc for its parser - it uses QDox instead. QDox is much more actively maintained, so 1.5 support should be added to that (and hence to XDoclet 2) relatively quickly once 1.5 is released. By the way, as the red text on the Tracker page says, we don't use the SF trackers any more. We moved to JIRA (http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/xdoclet/) for issue tracking some time ago. There's a similar enhancement request (to add support for generics) in there already, XJD-30 http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/xdoclet/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=XJD-30 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=402707&aid=906121&group_id=31602 ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
