Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: XDG-4
    Summary: IDEA plugin build problems
       Type: Bug

     Status: Open
   Priority: Major

 Original Estimate: 0 minutes
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: 0 minutes

    Project: XDoclet GUI
 Components:
             IntelliJ Plugin

Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)
   Reporter: Andrew Stevens

    Created: Mon, 3 Feb 2003 6:32 AM

Description:
1) The README.txt says to run "ant -Didea.home=... deploy" However, the build
script uses the variable 'idea.home.dir', so this won't work.

2) When I tried to build it on its own it told me I needed to build xdocletgui
itself first. However, it didn't tell me I also needed to run the build in
xjavadoc too (xdoclet now builds that into separate 'regular' and 'unicode'
directories, so it's no longer found in xjavadoc/build/lib unless you do it
yourself).

3) The xjavadoc.jar and xdoclet.jar properties don't include the version
numbers in their values, so the jars aren't found.

4) The xdoclet/samples/lib/ejb.jar file referred to by the ejb.jar property
doesn't exist, so its copy task fails.

5) jdom-b8.jar, mentioned in one of the deploy target's copy tasks, isn't to be
found in xdoclet/lib. There is xdocletgui\lib\jdom.jar, however.
