The result of this is that the xdoclet-2.0.3 artifact (jar/pom) has NOT been made available via maven 2. The specific problem in this case is the description element, which has a nested <a/> tag (link). Since the XML used to describe projects doesn't include an <a/> tag, this is causing our parsers to choke. Would it be possible to wrap the description's contents in a CDATA section, to allow our converter to provide access for maven2 users? I've already fixed the POM on our maven 1 staging repository, but it would be best if you could fix it on your end as well, for consistency and for backup-restore purposes.
