Before I get to your question, I should probably point out that the
xdoclet-user list would have been more appropriate as that's intended
for people using XDoclet; this lists is for discussion relating to
XDoclet's own development.

By "tags" do you mean the javadoc tags in the bean source file, or the
subtask elements in the build script?  And when you say you have already
written the java code, do you mean you've written the interface source
files manually, or that you've written the appropriate bits in the bean
class java source for generating the other files?
