Well, I'm one of them. So the blame is on me too.

I will try to find a time this evening to apply your
patches and release fresh snapshot. 

Plugins could use fresh snapshots too....

It is more diffucult to add developers to codehaus,
than to SF project.   that's why SF was choosen for
the plugins.
