I presumed this was a core issue with Xdoclet2, but it might be a plugin
problem or not a problem altogether. I may have jumped the gun and
posted a problem at http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/XDOCLET-45, but
regardless...
I'm using the maven1 maven-xdoclet2-plugin-1.0.3-SNAPSHOT.jar with a
modified dependency to use xdoclet-2.0.5-SNAPSHOT and the
xdoclet-plugin-hibernate-1.0.4-SNAPSHOT
The error is below when parsing a file with a Java 5 generic syntax:
Running org.xdoclet.plugin.hibernate.HibernateMappingPlugin
Error parsing File C:[longpath]\Person.java:Encountered "<" at line 82,
column 14.
Was expecting one of:
<IDENTIFIER> ...
"[" ...
"." ...
This was documented as fixed in XDoclet1, didn't know if it has been or
needed to be addressed in 2.
