Local homes/interfaces can only be used within the app server VM. (You
typically call this from the web tier). So there is no need to specify the
java.naming.factory.initial property because it's set by the app server. It
sounds as if you're trying to access the local home from a different VM
(standalone app?) You're not allowed to do that (according to the EJB spec).
Am I right or wrong?
