My problems are nothing that couldn't be solved by creating new templates and tag handlers. I don't belive they are a result of some kind of fundamental constraint to Xdoclet's architecture, they're just an issue of feature-completeness. Something I will have to address before my project is finished. You'll hear more on this as I find time to write the code. I am also eagerly awaiting more documentation and a new version of Xdoclet. > > Xdoclet will solve most of my problems but the point still remains: If > > you are generating code, why not generate exactly what you want, exactly > > the way you want it without the extra layer of translation? Like I said, Xdoclet (at the moment) isn't capable of expressing 100% of the configuration permutations expressable if EJB development were done manually. But it's not anything that couldn't be solved by a little elbow grease. -ryan -- Humans are the unfortunate result of a local maximum in the fitness landscape. www.ryanmarsh.com ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber - The world's fastest growing real-time communications platform!
