Hi Hani,

I'm using the @ejb:ejb-external-ref quite extensively without any troubles.
For example:

@ejb:ejb-external-ref
        ref-name="ejb/AuditConnector"
        type="Session"
        view-type="local"
        jndi-name="com/versata/processlogic/connectors/AuditConnector"
        home="com.versata.pl.engine.adapter.interfaces.AuditConnectorLocalHome"
        remote="com.versata.pl.engine.adapter.interfaces.AuditConnectorLocal"

Generates the appropriate resource declaation in my ejb-jar xml.
This is using XDoclet 1.1.2 though.
