The entity facade only got added shortly before 1.2 beta 1, so backwards compatibility isn't an issue in the same way it is for data objects. Plus, it was added at last minute before the build, when ideally nothing should have been changing except bug fixes, so there was no time to discuss & design it better... > so poor lamers like me can carry on using them Which is precisely the reason I raised XDT-44 a few days after the beta1 release. If it's there, people will use it. Then they start to rely on it, and get justifiably upset if we change it too much.
