I totally agree. However, when Aslak mentioned that developers don't contribute to xdoclet because
1) they are lazy and 2) they don't know how it works. I totally agree with point 2 at any rate. I haven't a clue how it works without digging into the source code. It would be nice if there was even a basic "so you want to contribute" document.
