I am still a little new to Xdoclet (using beta2) and have a question for the group. I would like to be able to add a value to the value object that is not on the entity. Specifically, I want to be able to add a dirty flag to the value objects. I am thinking that the only way to do this is to write the template that adds the dirty flag and appropriate getters and setters. I just wanted to confirm that this is what must be done before I head down the path of trying to figure out the template language.
