Perhaps I"m not understanding your problem.

My understanding is that JBuilder is an IDE (I don't use it). XDoclet is nothing more than a set of utility classes. There's nothing to stop you from using JBuilder to create the base classes and manually add Xdoclet tags (like we all do), runnning Ant to generate the extra files, and continue to use JBuilder to integrate them with the rest of your business classes.

If you're interested in not generating the tags themselves by hand, check out using something like AndroMDA which takes a UML diagram (in XML format.. xmi?) and generates the base .java beans and appropriately autogenerates the Xdoclet tags.

hi there,

in my current project i  must generate xdoclet desciptors. normally i use
jbuilder, which generates ejb descriptors with dedicated utility.

is it possible to generate xdoclet comments from jbuilder?
or maybe there is another possibility not to do the same job twice?
