That's my primary use now. It works easier than for 
web.xml - you need less properties:

maven.xdoclet.hibernatedoclet.hibernate.0.Version=2.0
maven.xdoclet.hibernatedoclet.mergeDir=${basedir}/src/merge

is enough for me.
