Well, my proposal would be to rebuild the old functionality given in
1.2b3.
But fully qualified classnames should be better.

So, my new proposal would be to use fully qualified classnames, right.
But that's already possible. Only the documentation has to be changed.

Could someone else please raise a JIRA issue? I don't have an account
and I don't want to generate one just for this proposal. (Is this
selfish?)
Alternatively I could change the documentation myself but that would be
more complicated.
