Hello all, Running XCP 1.6 (61002c) on a storage box with an Areca 1882ix-16 RAID controller.
+ Latest i386 CLI from Areca cannot detect the RAID controller. + Both arcmsr and sg kernel mods are loaded. + lspci -v shows "04:00.0 RAID bus controller: Areca Technology Corp. ARC-1880 8/12 port PCIe/PCI-X to SAS/SATA II RAID Controller (rev 05)"; however, this isn't the same model as what's installed. Given this is all beta, I decided to try building a new arcmsr kernel module from source to see if that helped any, but this is also failing. [root@localhost arcmsr.1.20.0X.15-111012]# make make -C /lib/modules/2.6.32.43-0.4.1.xs1.6.06.734.170748xen/build SUBDIRS=/root/arcmsr.1.20.0X.15-111012 BUILD_INI=m make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.32.43-0.4.1.xs1.6.06.734.170748xen/build: No such file or directory. Stop. make: *** [all] Error 2 Has anyone encountered this or managed to get the Areca CLI to work? If not, does anybody know which package(s) I am missing to provide the required build directory?
