Hi,

This morning we face a little crash on one of our server. The Vm was hung, all services in a hung state. The Vm was still responding to ping, but no interaction with the visualized os (debian squeeze) possible.

We notices that samba went mad and launch over 500 processes when the system stopped logging. Another troubling fact i that we lost monitoting information on the XCP server, no ram consuption, cpu or network information available anymore. We try to stop the Vm did not work, we had to reboot the xcp server in order to get back in production.

I wonder if there is a connection between the XCP abnormal monitoring behaviour and the VM crash or if any of you had encountered problem running samba shares within an XCP server on debian squeezee.

Thanks in advance for your help
