Even redhat/centos don't have a solution to this yet: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1205564 When applying the proposed fix to util.py, error is still in place. Didn't realise that package building was so pernickety. I guess the best way forward is to leave this until 1205564 is sorted out. Going back to previous builds is a non-starter as I need to be able to push out bug-fixes as soon as they happen and it looks as though centos is the best route.
